Hot Tracy Bonham

I'll never forget deep, raw Tracy Bonham. She plays the
piano & violin classically. She is a terrific lady who taug-
ht herself to play the guitar. Of course, she came up wi-
th her own odd guitar styles. HAH-HA!

Tracy was born in Boston and brought up in the state of
Oregon. She transferred from the University of Southern
California. Tracy accepted their schooling after getting a
violin scholarship from that establishment. She planned
something else just as special. HA!

In 1994, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to enroll
in Berklee College of Music. It was definitely a dream c-
ome true for her. While there, she got her voice way up
to par. HA!

In 1995, Tracy unveiled the eclectic EP Liverpool Sessi-
ons and got her respect. She deserved that seconds af-
ter she was born. You all know that I go deeper but you
all never know exactly when. HAH-HAH!!!! Tracy is rough
around the edges so her releases reflected that. She is
petite but her voice is big and strong.

In 1996, she put out the LP Burdens of Being Upright &
got recognized. A lot of folks only know her from her s-
ong Mother, Mother because it was the most popular.
Regardless of the media making it that way, the song
still rocks. I just wished that more folks listened to th-
at whole CD. I remember purchasing it in 2000 at an
used CD shop.

In 2000, Tracy released the album Down Here after the
label changed the title. It was originally called Trails of
a Dust Devil. It was supposed to be released about 2
years before, but she got caught in those pesky label
mergers. It got shelved unjustly and she was not hap-
py. Imagine the work that she put into making it.

In 2001, she unleashed the Bee EP. She had about
1000 copies of it created. Tracy got pleasantly surp-
rised, because that EP sold over 12,000 units. She
was also doing a lot of her own promotions. She got
creative with marketing. HAH!! In Europe, that same
EP was released under the title Something Beautiful.
