Thomas Doolittle was the first one to utilize cooper to make
wires. Others followed & copper wires were implemented in
the telephone industry.

Froth flotation separates the cooper from its ore. The wires a-
re also used for all of the electronic vehicles. They're also pla-
ced in other products.

Some are coded so that they are easily recognizable. So, it w-
ill give you joy to research the drive-by-wire-system. It is intric-
ate like our eyes and brains.

Humphrey Davy was the first one to use platinum for experime-
nts. He knew a lot about the process called catalysis. Since D-
avy was a creative chemist, he never ran out of ideas.

Some of those lead to the first catalythic converters. Those con-
verters were revolutionary & they are able to drastically reduce e-
missions, plus other pollutants.

Otto Bayer made polyurethane & it's a strong, clear coating. It's
remarkable & is utilized to protect painted products from fading,
& other damage.

It takes a lot of practice to spray it on evenly and in a timely ma-
nner. Vehicles & buildings definitely benefit from Otto's invention.
Many pass the test of time and weather.
