I Declare Everyday International Ladies' Day (OOH, Ladies!) (Part 1)

Hot Rebecca Lee Crumpler was probably the first African-American lady-doctor in Am-
erica. In 1879, hot Lucy Stone was probably the first lady from Massachusetts to obta-
in a college degree. Hot Harriet Tubman was an abolitionist and humanitarian.

Hot Mary Eliza Mahoney was probably the 1st African-American lady to work as a nu-
rse in America. Hot Susan B. Anthony was a social reformer & feminist. Hot Clara Ba-
rton was a nurse and some folks in Garland, TX paid the ultimate homage to her.

Hot Inez Milholland was a World War 1 correspondent, public speaker, and lawyer. Hot
Lucretia Mott was a Quaker, activist, reformer, and abolitionist. Hot Elizabeth Cady Sta-
nton was an activist and abolitionist. Mabel Vernon was a suffragist, pacifist, and leader.

Hot Carrie Chapman Catt campaigned for the 19th Amendment to the American Consti-
tution, that did help give our ladies the right to vote in the year 1920. Girls and ladies sh-
ould have always had the right to vote since birth. I had to write that into this. WHOA!

Hot Millicent Fawcett was a writer, union leader, intellectual, & suffragist. Hot Anita P-
ollitzer was a bold photographer. Hot Lady Constance Bulwer-Lytton was a UK suffrag-
ette, activist, speaker, & writer. She campaigned for birth control, ladies' right to vote, &
prison reform. She rejected her rich background to fight for our ladies.

Hot Mary Seacole was born in Jamaica but she was Scottish & Creole. She excelled &
established a hotel in Britain. She did that while the Crimean War was going on.  Hot D-
oris Stevens was an author & she stood up for ladies. So did hot Alice Stokes Paul & L-
ucy Burns. They were some of the boldest, smartest, gifted, and toughest ladies ever.

Hot Mary Raleigh Richardson was wild. She was a Canadian suffragette in the Canada
& United Kingdom movements for our ladies. She was extreme at times & she was an
arsonist. Hot Annie Kenney was a UK suffragette.

Hot Ida B. Wells was an editor, journalist, sociologist, & leader. Hot Edith Cavell was
a nurse. Hot Elizabeth Blackwell was probably the first lady to receive a medical degr-
ee in America. She was probably the first lady to become apart of the UK Medical Re-
gister.

Her sister hot Emily Blackwell also earned her medical degree. You all should make ti-
me to research the American Ladies' Suffrage Association, ladies' suffrage, & ladies' s-
uffrage movements worldwide.
