The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is the biggest establishment of oncology worldwide.
It accumulated over 35,000 registered nurses and other folks that work in healthcare. They
strive to make the solid impacts with caring for patients in oncology. Their wonderful assoc-
iation has received the CEO Cancer Standard accreditation.
The ONS do take their work seriously so they put strict caring and screening guidelines in
place. They promote cancer reduction amongst their families, coworkers, friends, and asso-
ciates. The Oncology Nursing Society believes in sincere unity & following up with patients
quite often. The CEO Gold Cancer Standard relay positive messages regarding health awar-
eness.
The ONS still implement proven methods to halt cancer and they want to ban smoking. Th-
ey know that folks have to change some of their bad habits to get healthier. They do preach
education and support for the communities. Their origins started in Pennsylvania & they ha-
ve created over 200 chapters of networking. I applaud them for being so concerned about c-
ancer patients.
They had a regional conference where lots of associates talked, brainstormed, & networked
for future collaborations. On September 27, 2014, the ONS did host the first part of it at the
Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston, TX. On October 17, 2014, they did have the second part
of it at Bridgewater Banquet and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.
On November 15, 2014, the Oncology Nursing Society did have the third part of their helpf-
ul gathering at the large Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The ONS made
some time to participate in 30 special interest groups throughout the world. They have an
educator resource center that is one for the record books.
The Oncology Nursing Society have plenty of knowledge and they want to educate nurses &
others in the healthcare field further. They have another important party called ONS:Edge &
they accumulate followers online and at their ONS:Edge events. They have grown rapidly &
they will continue to do good works to try make cancer get smaller.
